About Futurist

Futurist is a North East based Strategic Consultancy which provides strategic support to a wide range of clients.

The company was formed in 2008 by Managing Director Phil Shakeshaft and Operations Director David McFarlane. Futurist has a number of large clients including Northumberland Strategic Partnership, One NorthEast and SES (a community based project helping to support businesses in Hendon, Sunderland).

In addition to our core staff, Futurist also have an extensive network of Associates who can be commissioned through Futurist as an extension of the services we offer.
