High Level Policy Makers

Futurist works with high level decision makers who work within public sector organisations to improve the quality of their leadership through the use of Futures Thinking techniques. Our courses will help these individuals to assess their own distinctive competencies and to explore how these will contribute to the future success of their organisations. The sessions also demonstrate how they can apply the techniques they have learnt to the policy making process in order to create views of the future.

These courses typically take the form of a 2-5 day retreat at a luxury resort.

Policy Officers

Futurist also offers courses aimed at policy officers who are in decision making roles within public sector bodies. The course will provide these individuals with the tools they require to develop their policy formation skills. Attendees will be introduced to a wide range of strategic development tools and will be shown how to apply them in a practical environment, the skills acquired through these sessions are vital to the personal and professional development of the individual.

As well as enhancing the individual’s skills, this course will add significant value to the organisation as a whole as the individual is empower with the skills and tools necessary to flourish in their job role. Courses can be done as part of a mixed group of attendees form a variety of organisations or as a focussed session with a number of people all from the same policy team.

Courses typically take place over 1-3 days.
