The study resulted in an interesting and diverse list.  The more foreseeable advancements in energy, fuel, transport and medicine are accompanied by technological and organisational innovations; ideas which may come to transform the way humans interact with each other, with work and leisure, and with the world around us.

 One item on the list, the idea of recycling shipping containers for accommodation, is an idea being explored in the North East of England by SES, the Sunderland-based enterprise company, who are planning an innovative, environmentally-friendly new headquarters, constructed from reconditioned shipping containers.
